From trousseau shopping to gift packing, decor to guest checklist and catering – there is just so much to do! For those of you planning to tie the knot this wedding season, Wedding Asia is here to take the stress out of wedding wonderings. A platform for designers in and across different Asian countries, Wedding Asia is in its tenth year of existence and kicks off the shaadi-season shopping with its first show in Chandigarh beginning September 12. Spread over two days, this one-stop-shop for all things bride and groom will happen at JW Marriott in ‘City Beautiful ‘, followed by Delhi a week later on.

On the anvil, there will be upcoming bridal couture designers, jewellers, planners, trousseau packers, specialized photographers, customized shoe designers, make-up artists and invitation designers etc under one roof. Conceptualized by Anupreet and Maninder Sethi, Wedding Asia – from the House of Wedding Asia, has been recognized as Asia’s premium wedding exhibition and has become an exclusive platform to showcase and promote the best of bridal collections and accessories. Wedding Asia does not only promotes young design talent, but also is the only event platform that endorses the royal game of polo, under the banner of The Royal Punjab Polo team.

Talking about Wedding Asia, one of the brains behind the event, Anupreet Sethi says, “Wedding Asia promises to come up with different innovations and special highlight each year. We are thankful to the kind of response we get from exhibitors and visitors alike. The next aim for Excelsior is to reach Mumbai and then to mesmerize our patrons at Macau, Sharjah, Bangkok & Dubai, thus percolating downs the Indian royal flavour at a pan-Asian level.”

Apparel, jewellery, sterling silver, linen and accessories, the two-day event is filled with the finest collection of every conceivable article for the bride and the groom, put together painstakingly by the top-notch names in bridal finery from the Asian subcontinent. Catering to a broad range of consumers the collections at Wedding Asia reflects the genius of master craftsmen’s and designers through blends of modern and traditional, classical and contemporary. Leading and renowned fashion designers from India and neighbouring countries such as Pakistan and Dubai also participate in Wedding Asia exhibition.
